ABOUT VALOIS AWARDS

VALOIS AWARDS was established by the VALOIS FEST Organizing Committee and Partners. The VALOIS AWARDS ceremony is organized to recognize the achievements of performers, creative groups, companies, and organizations working in the Performing and Visual Arts. The list of nominees is determined by the Organizing Committee after reviewing applications from the founders and directors of theatres, music and choreographic companies, cultural centres, academies, museums, galleries, and other institutions in the Performing and Visual Arts. Partners and patrons are nominated for awards for their educational and charitable activities aimed at supporting theatre, music, choreography, design, and fine arts. The awards ceremony may be organized (combined) with a gala concert featuring performances by renowned musicians, ballet dancers, and opera singers.

The VALOIS FEST Medal is the main award bestowed upon participants and partners of the VALOIS FEST festival and the THEATRE-MUSIC-ART cultural and educational project. The medal is awarded by decision of the Organizing Committee at the VALOIS AWARDS ceremony. The medal is available in bronze, silver, or gold. The obverse of the medal features the intertwined letters V and F—the initials of VALOIS FEST—surrounded by a laurel wreath, symbolizing excellence in culture and art. The reverse bears the inscriptions "VALOIS FEST" in the centre and "International Award for Performing and Visual Arts" around the rim. A diploma is presented along with the medal, stating the nominee's name and the reason for the award.

The VALOIS AWARDS Special Prizes are a unique collection of limited-edition works of art created by talented artists and designers from the British company Kingsley's Studio. The collection was created by designer Ray Kingsley and artist Rinat Kuramshin. To create these works of art, the artists collaborated with theatre directors and managers, ballet dancers, opera singers, musicians, and leading music and dance professionals from around the world. The VALOIS AWARDS collection depicts scenes from famous ballet and opera performances, as well as portraits of outstanding composers, choreographers, dancers, singers, musicians, and other renowned cultural figures.

The VALOIS AWARDS ceremony is one of the most exciting events, bringing together specialists, companies, and institutions working in the performing and visual arts. Meeting outstanding figures from around the world will leave an unforgettable impression on festival participants and guests. Being nominated for a prestigious award is undoubtedly a significant moment in anyone's life. We look forward to seeing you at the VALOIS AWARDS ceremony!
